Armory page

Show off one character with a public link: level, gear, stats, reputation and professions, like the WoW Armory.

An Armory page is one character's sheet, read-only and public: for a guild application, a Discord channel, a friend who asks what you are wearing. It lives at an address with the character's region, realm and name, like /forever/armory/eu/your-realm/your-name/, so anyone can open it and search engines may list it. It is for WoW Forever and needs an account, and the character has to be synced by the desktop app.

What it shows

Name, realm, faction, level, race and class, item level and level progress, then the same tabs as your own sheet: Gear (with Wowhead tooltips), Stats, Reputation, Skills, Recipes and PvP.

Never gold, bags, the bank, where the character is, played time, rested XP, lockouts or history, and the reagent counts on the recipes are left out. There is no setting that adds them.

Making the link

Open the character on the Forever home page and press Show off this character with an Armory page at the top of its sheet. You get the address with Copy, Open and Stop sharing.

If another account also has an Armory page for a character with the same name and realm, the address with the name opens neither of them. You then get a link with a code in it instead, which keeps working.

The page always shows the character as it was last synced, so a new piece of gear shows up after your next sync without a new link. Shared in a chat, the link shows a preview card with the character, its item level, its best gear and its professions.

Stopping

Stop sharing takes the page down at once, for everybody, and search engines drop it the next time they look. Sharing again brings the address with the name back, but the link with a code is a new one. Forgetting the character on the site stops it too.

To share only recipes, see Sharing your professions. To show a whole character to friends only, with the option to include gold and bags, see Friends.
